This session was part of Altai in Residence; Experiments in Collective Practice, a month long residency at the Royal College of Art for the group Altai, invited by curator Anne Duffau (a---z). Altai are four women artists; Verity Birt, Keira Greene, Sara Hibbert and Genevieve Lutkin, who hosted a programme of encounters to test modes of knowledge and pedagogic alternatives at odds with the institution and aligned with practices altogether more intimate and mystic.

In this session we read 'Power-Over and Power-From-Within', the first chapter of neo-pagan witch, Starhawk's book 'Dreaming in the Dark - Magic, Sex and Politics' alongside excerpts from Anne Cameron's 'Daughters of Copper Woman'.
